Meet Murphy, your data assistant
Murphy lives inside Morph and knows which rule you're working on. Ask it to build something, explain something, or fix something, in plain English.
Builds rules with you
Describe what you need, or attach a CSV, XLSX or JSON file, and Murphy drafts a rule: source, columns, mappings and destination, ready for you to review.
Explains what's wrong
Ask why a field won't map or a run failed. Murphy reads the rule you have open, the field you've selected and the sample data, then explains the problem in plain English.
Fixes it for you
Murphy proposes the fix, such as a date format, a currency clean-up or a lookup, and shows you the record before and after. Approve it and it's applied.
Remembers the thread
Conversations are saved and linked to the rules they touched, so you can pick up where you left off and see what was changed and why.
Knows when to hand over
If Murphy hits something it can't do, it says so and offers to pass the conversation to our support team rather than guessing.
You stay in control. Every change Murphy suggests is a proposal you review first. Switching a rule on is a separate approval, and files you attach are read as a sample of up to 100 rows, not in full.

Work in Morph from Claude
Morph has an MCP server, so AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol can use it directly. Connect Claude or Claude Code once, then ask it to check your runs or build a rule while you get on with something else.
Ask about your data
List your rules, runs and connections, read a rule's configuration, and check how the last run went.
Build rules in conversation
Create a rule, set its source and destination, add transformations and lookups, get mapping suggestions, preview the output and fix issues, all from your assistant.
Finish the job properly
Finalising a rule runs the same checks as the Morph app, and your assistant returns a link so you can open the rule in Morph and review it.
Run and organise
Start runs, organise rules into projects, manage lookups and share projects. Your assistant asks you to confirm each of these first.

Pick Claude or Claude Code and follow the steps shown. You sign in to Morph with OAuth; no passwords are shared.

Try the first prompt
Morph gives you a ready-made prompt that builds a rule from one of your connections, so you can see it working straight away.
Built to be safe with an agent. Your assistant only gets the access you grant. Anything beyond editing a draft (running, sharing or deleting) needs a confirmation tied to the exact change it previewed, and finalising a rule runs the same checks as the app, with any warnings left for you to accept.

Murphy and MCP questions
Which plans include Murphy?
Every plan, including Free. Murphy is in the Morph app wherever you are: open it from the fox in the corner, or from a rule's Murphy conversations button.
Can Murphy change my rules without asking?
No. Murphy prepares each change as a proposal and shows you what it will do, with a before and after for your records. Nothing is saved until you approve it, and switching a rule on is a separate approval of its own.
How much of my file does Murphy see?
When you attach a file, Murphy reads a sample of up to 100 rows, not the whole file. Its findings describe that sample, and it says so. Your full data is only processed when a rule runs.
Which AI model powers Murphy?
Murphy runs on Claude, made by Anthropic. Anthropic processes the content of your Murphy conversations to generate replies, as set out in our privacy policy.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants use tools in other products. Morph's MCP server lets Claude and Claude Code work with your Morph rules, runs and connections directly.

Pro, Team, Business and Enterprise. Connect it from Connect AI agent in your account menu, which shows the exact setup steps for Claude or Claude Code and a first prompt to try.
Is it safe to let an AI assistant work in my account?
Your assistant signs in with OAuth, so it only gets the access you grant. Anything beyond editing a draft rule, such as running a rule, sharing a project or deleting something, needs a confirmation tied to the exact change your assistant previewed. Finalising a rule applies the same checks as the app, and any mapping warnings need your sign-off before a rule is switched on.
