Morph Embedded: Connect and import logs

Let your customers connect the systems they already use, so their records reach you on your schedule, and show everyone what happened with each import.

    No file needed

    Murphy says: Your customers keep their data in Xero, QuickBooks or HubSpot? With Connect, they connect it once inside your product, and Morph brings their records to you, kept up to date.

    Murphy says: Under “Connect: your customers' own systems”, tick each system you offer and choose which records go into which of your data. Then pick “How often records come in” and press “Save”.

    Your own systems too

    Murphy says: Built a connector from an API's docs? It shows under “Your own connectors”, so your customers can connect that system with its own key. Each time, Morph brings only what changed since the last time.

    Nothing hidden

    Murphy says: Every import and every sync gets a log: what came in, which rows had problems and why, and what your app refused. Your customers see theirs under “Your imports” in the importer, and you see them all under “Import logs”. Never a value.

Owners and admins of a business account set up Connect, under “Morph Embedded” in Settings. Xero asks you to use your own Xero app, which Settings explains. Your app can also add records to your customers' systems: under a system in Settings, “Write your data into …”.

Try it in Morph

  1. Open “Morph Embedded” from your account menu and scroll to “Connect: your customers' own systems”.
  2. Tick a system, choose what it brings into which of your data, and press “Save”.
  3. Press “Try Connect” to see the window your customers will see.
