Learn Morph, one comic at a time
Murphy, our nine-tailed fox, teaches Morph from your first rule to connectors, AI agents and Morph Embedded. Each lesson is a short comic, a link to try it for real, and a quick check. Stuck on something? Tell Murphy what's up below.

- My rule won't run“Run rule” waits until the rule is saved. From the Rules list, “Play Rule” needs the rule to be “Active”.Lesson: Run it: Play
- Connect XeroXero asks for the “Client ID” and “Client Secret” of your own Xero app.Lesson: Connect a system
- A field is empty in the outputAn unmapped field, or a required one left empty, leaves a gap.Lesson: Mapping fields to a system
- A lookup brings back blanksCheck the join fields really match, and choose what happens when there's no match.Lesson: Lookups: bring in data from elsewhere
- The system refused some records“Needed to run” and “Send one record” show what the system insists on.Lesson: Before you send: readiness checks
- My trigger never firesA trigger only runs an “Active” rule, and schedules need a paid plan.Lesson: Put it on autopilot: triggers
- Dates or amounts look wrong“Format date” and “Normalize formatted amounts” sort most of them out.Lesson: Clean it up: transformations
- I keep sending the same records“Since last run” reads only what changed.Lesson: Only what's changed: since last run
- Is my data good enough to import?Data Analysis reads every row and tells you what needs fixing.Lesson: Run your first analysis
- Get bills and receipts into XeroA document rule attaches each file to the right record, using “Document mapping”.Lesson: Attach documents to records
- My system isn't listedIf it has an API, build a connector from its docs.Lesson: Build a connector from an API's docs
- I'd rather just ask someoneMurphy, the fox in the corner, can explain a problem and fix it with you.Lesson: Meet Murphy, your assistant

FAQ
About the learning centre
Do I need an account to use the learning centre?
No. Every lesson is free to read here. To try a lesson for real in Morph, sign in or create a free account; the free plan needs no card.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in this browser. Lessons you finish are ticked off, and Continue where you left off takes you back to the next one. Signed in, the Learning Centre in the app remembers your progress for your account.
Who is Murphy?
Murphy is Morph's built-in AI assistant: a nine-tailed pixel-art fox. In the app he builds and fixes rules with you, on the Starter plan and above. Here, he's your teacher.
Which plan do I need for the lessons?
Most lessons work on the free plan. Where a feature needs a paid plan, such as schedules, Murphy, connectors built from API docs or MCP, the lesson says so.
