Getting started · Lesson 5 of 5

The activity feed

Every run, whether you pressed Play or a trigger did, lands in the activity feed with its status, row counts and any errors.

The comic

  1. Panel 1 of 4.
Murphy says: Every run lands in “Activity feed”, newest first and grouped by day. Each card shows the rule, who ran it, how long it took and its status.
  2. Panel 2 of 4.

    Uh-oh

Murphy says: A run went wrong? The card shows the error. If a system turned some rows away, the card can list them: each row, and why.
  3. Panel 3 of 4.
Murphy says: The filter shows just what you need: “Errors”, “Completed”, “Rules”, “Analyses” and more. “Refresh” fetches the latest.
  4. Panel 4 of 4.
Murphy says: Curious what a run produced? “Analyse output” checks it with Data Analysis. More on that in a later lesson!

Quick check

2 quick questions. No marks, no pressure: pick an answer and Murphy will tell you how you did.

1. A scheduled run happened at 3am while you were asleep. Where can you see how it went?
2. Which filter shows only the runs that went wrong?
