Put it on autopilot: triggers

Run a rule on a schedule, or when a file arrives, without anyone pressing Play.

The comic

  1. Panel 1 of 4.

    Autopilot

Murphy says: A trigger runs a rule for you. Open “Triggers” and choose “New Trigger”. Give it a name and choose the rule.
  2. Panel 2 of 4.
Murphy says: Pick a “Trigger Source”. “Schedule” runs it hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, at the time you choose, and a preview shows when.
  3. Panel 3 of 4.
Murphy says: Or run it when a file arrives: in your organisation's “SFTP Inbox” (a secure folder Morph hosts for you), or in a OneDrive or SharePoint folder you choose, once Microsoft 365 is connected.
  4. Panel 4 of 4.
Murphy says: Triggers run on Morph's servers, so nobody needs to be logged in. The rule must be “Active”, and every run lands in the activity feed.

Schedules need a paid plan: Starter runs at most daily; Pro, Team and Business hourly; Enterprise down to every minute. The SFTP Inbox is on Team and above. On the Free plan you run rules yourself.
